Maricruz Patino was born in Chicago, IL but her love for photography brought her to Central Michigan University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Photojournalism and Spanish.

She realized her passion for photography has always been present ever since she was a child, when she would play pretend that she was photographing her family's life. That passion for visual storytelling continues to grow with every frame she takes.

While exploring her interests in all types of photography, her passion grows more towards fine art photography.
